The USA is not planning to transfer nuclear weapons to Ukraine, the US president’s national security adviser Jake Sullivan told CNN.
“It is not under consideration, no,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
According to Sullivan, the US is focused on supplying Kiev with conventional weapons.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that Moscow sends “both verbal and material” warning signals to the US on a regular basis.
In addition, he reminded that Russia as a nuclear power cannot be defeated.
