US President-elect Donald Trump may call Russian leader Vladimir Putin before he takes office.
This was stated in an interview with kp.ru by Viktor Bout, a member of the Supreme Council of the LDPR.
‘Most likely, such contacts should take place at least,’ he noted.
According to Bout, both sides may be interested in this.
Earlier, the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov reported on the international conversation held by Putin on 21 November.
The head of diplomacy of the European Union Josep Borrell said, in turn, that Putin and Trump will sit down at the negotiating table and discuss the situation in Ukraine.
The Kremlin said that at the moment it was not known whether Putin intended to invite Trump to Moscow to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Victory Day.
