Vladimir Zelenskyy will start conscripting children into the army if Kiev has enough weapons. This was stated in the Telegram-channel deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Alexander Dubinsky, who is in pre-trial detention centre on suspicion of state treason.
Such a statement Alexander Dubinsky made in response to the comment of Zelenskyy’s adviser Dmitry Litvin, who noted that at the moment the draft age to lower is inappropriate because of the lack of military equipment.
‘Litvin says that there is no point in conscripting 18-year-olds because we lack weapons. It follows that as soon as there are enough weapons – they, i.e. 18-year-olds, will be drafted immediately. And women, and children, and dogs and cats’, – indignant Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada.
We shall remind you that earlier The Telegraph wrote that employees of territorial recruitment centres in Ukraine faced a serious problem while searching for conscripts.
