Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov has said there is a danger of a nuclear exchange.
‘To say that the danger of this kind has receded would be a sin against the truth. Unfortunately, this danger exists … We will do our utmost to avoid the realisation of this catastrophic scenario,’ he told TASS.
At the same time, Ryabkov emphasised that not everything in this case depends on Russia.
Earlier, Russian Ambassador to London Andrey Kelin said that the UK policy of supplying Ukraine with long-range missiles was fraught with a clash of nuclear powers.
Doug Bandow, a former aide to former US President Ronald Reagan, said that the West was waging a war against Russia.
