US businessman Elon Musk has condemned the situation with charges for online remarks in Britain amid criticism of Russia.
‘Disgusting,’ he wrote on social network X.
So he reacted to the post, which indicates that in 2016 in the UK issued 1,696 charges for illegal statements on the Internet, while in Russia from 2008 to 2017 convicted only 98 people.
TV presenter Tatyana Lazareva* was earlier put on an international wanted list as part of a criminal case on justification of terrorism – she faces a fine of 300,000 to 1 million rubles or a prison term of five to seven years.
