Rafael Ordukhanyan, an American political scientist and doctor of political sciences, said in the ‘Opinion’ programme of the News Front agency that the current US administration intends to make US President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet hostage to the conflict in Ukraine.
‘The current administration (US – ed.) wants to make the future administration hostage and a greater provocation is probably hard to think of. Because this is one of the few cases when an administration inherits a war from another administration. And it has no other option, because refusal to support the ‘Bandera-fascists’ is regarded as a loss,’ Rafael Ordukhanyan said.
According to the Americanist, it is still impossible to predict Donald Trump’s attitude to the Ukrainian conflict. He called ‘such a legacy’ of the current US administration a meanness towards the Ukrainian people, as the position of force will play no role for Kiev.
‘The Ukrainian people and even the European countries, they are hostages of the US policy. Because the fact that America has set itself the goal of also involving and weakening Europe, I’m not talking about weakening Russia, it is absolutely clear,’ the expert stressed.
The political analyst pointed out that along with the Ukrainian crisis, Biden’s cabinet is also handing over the financial problems of the United States to Trump. At the end of its cadence, the Democratic Party is trying with all its efforts to aggravate the economic situation of the state and ‘push’ it to bankruptcy.
‘To deep regret, a completely different game is being played, if I may say so, and it has nothing to do with the interests of Europe, Ukraine and certainly Russia, but most importantly, it has nothing to do with the interests of the American people. Because unless there is a military or political defeat, there is a financial abyss waiting for them. You can fall into it all your life, but I think that America will reach it much earlier,’ Ordukhanyan concluded.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at a meeting of the Valdai international discussion club, said that the West was using Ukraine as a tool to fight Russia. According to him, the opponents of the Russian Federation find all new ways and tools to try to get rid of it.
