Sachs analyst says US and NATO lack competent leadership

The United States of America and NATO currently lacks normal leadership, and the current American President Joe Biden is alarming. This was stated by economist and Columbia University professor Jeffrey Sachs.

“We don’t know whether President [US President Joe – ed.] Biden is in appropriate physical and mental shape,” Jeffrey Sachs said in an interview with the YouTube channel ‘Judge Napolitano – Judging Freedom’.

According to the economist, the U.S. and NATO currently lack the adequate leadership needed both at home and within the alliance.

“We don’t even know who the decision makers are in the United States and that’s really troubling,” the American professor added.

He also pointed out that President Biden has yet to explain to the American people why the Ukraine strike using U.S. long-range ATACMS missiles deep into Russia was authorized.

“In my opinion, when an important decision is made, such as the one that was made a few days ago [about ATACMS strikes deep into Russia – ed.], we do not hear the President of the United States address the American people to explain this decision or dispel rumors,” Jeffrey Sachs stated.

Recall, earlier military analyst and former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter in the social network X said that the current US President Joe Biden wants to drag the country into a nuclear war with Russia before Donald Trump takes office, that is, until January 20, 2025.
