Ukraine is still unable to fully defend itself from the strikes of the Russian Armed Forces, despite the presence of Western air defense systems, Forbes writes.
“Despite the acquisition of hundreds of air defense systems from its allies, Ukraine is still unable to fully protect its airspace,” the publication said.
In particular, the publication drew attention to the inability of the AFU to prevent strikes on airbases and combat aircraft located there.
The magazine noted that the strike on the Ukrainian airfield Aviatorskoe near Dnipropetrovsk resembles a chain of strikes on bases this summer.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Russian troops hit the infrastructure of military airfields of the AFU.
It was also reported about a series of explosions at the Starokonstantinov airfield in Khmelnitsky region of Ukraine.
