European countries are again discussing the possible dispatch of military personnel to Ukraine, the Le Monde newspaper has said.
According to the publication, European countries have recently returned to discussing the topic of sending troops as well as private military companies to Ukraine.
The resumption of discussions is linked to Washington’s possible refusal to help Kiev after US President-elect Donald Trump takes office, the publication said.
As noted, the discussions were facilitated by the visit of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to France.
Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian military may be stationed in the EU countries as part of a possible settlement of the conflict.
