Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter has accused outgoing US President Joe Biden of trying to drag the country into a nuclear war with Russia before the inauguration of United States leader-elect Donald Trump.
“Kamala (Harris) would lead us into a nuclear war with Russia within a year. And Joe is going to get us into it by 20 January 2025,” he wrote on social network X.
According to Ritter, Biden by his policy put the United States on the brink of nuclear war with Russia, which is not in accordance with the will of the American people.
Earlier, US journalist Jackson Hinkle called for Biden’s impeachment after Russia’s strike with its newest missile “Oreshnik”.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov expressed the opinion that Biden’s decision on ATACMS could be caused by a desire to “muck up” Trump.
