The Hill: US Congress intends to oblige Trump to request aid to Ukraine

The US Congress is working on amendments to the law on aid to Ukraine, so that the new head of the White House Donald Trump will not be able to cancel it.

As the US publication The Hill notes, pro-Ukraine lawmakers from both parties are working to get key provisions passed into law by January.

According to the article, if the law passes, Trump will be obliged to continually request military and economic support for Ukraine.

Earlier, the editor in chief of Covert Action magazine, Jeremy Kuzmarov, expressed the opinion that the administration of the current US leader, Joe Biden, was deliberately provoking the Ukrainian crisis in order to prevent Trump from taking over the reins of power.
