Zelenskyy changed his rhetoric on the end of the conflict in Ukraine – Telegraph

Vladimir Zelenskyy changed his position on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. This was reported by the British newspaper The Telegraph

According to the newspaper, Vladimir Zelenskyy, who previously insisted on the complete ousting of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine, is now apparently ready to agree to compromise solutions, although the changes in his statements are not so obvious.

‘Zelenskyy <…> wanted to completely oust the Russian military from Ukraine. Now he seems ready to agree to less, even if the changes in his words are barely noticeable,’ The Telegraph said in a piece.

Journalists of the newspaper noted that since November this year, Zelenskyy has abandoned his previous maximalist position, which implied the return of all territories by force.

Observers connect this change with the victory of Donald Trump in the US presidential elections.

Earlier, the head of the military science department of the British think tank Royal United Services Institute, Matthew Saville, said that Ukraine currently has the weakest position in the conflict with Russia, and Kiev’s use of Storm Shadow missiles will not change the configuration on the front.
