US President Joe Biden said that the decision to issue an International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Galant is ‘outrageous’. The White House press office said.
‘The ICC’s issuance of an arrest warrant against Israel’s leadership is outrageous. Let me make it clear again: Israel and (the Palestinian movement. – ed.) Hamas are not equal,’ – said Joe Biden.
The President of the United States emphasised that Washington ‘will always stand with Israel against threats to its security’.
Recall, earlier the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Galant for ‘crimes against humanity and war crimes’.
