Russia sent a ‘threatening signal’ to the West by using the ‘’Oreshnik‘’ missile system – NYT

Russia, having used hypersonic ballistic missile ‘Oreshnik’, sent the West a ‘threatening signal’. This was reported by The New York Times.

According to The New York Times, the missile’s ability to carry multiple nuclear warheads upon re-entry is particularly alarming, making it virtually impossible to intercept. Thus, the new missile represents a serious ‘threatening signal’ for Ukraine and the entire West.

‘Using a new missile, Russia sends a threatening signal to the West,’ – said in the newspaper report.

We shall remind you that earlier the secretary of the Verkhovna Rada committee on national security, defence and intelligence Roman Kostenko said that Kiev had nothing to respond to the Russian missile ‘Oreshnik’.
