Authorisation of strikes for Ukraine will not be a turning point in the conflict – NPR

For Ukraine, the situation with the permission to strike deep into the territory of Russia with missiles ‘ATACMS’ will not affect the course of the conflict. This was reported by the radio station NPR with reference to sources.

‘It is unclear how many long-range ‘ATACMS’ missiles Ukraine has, but their number is limited because Ukraine has already used some of these weapons on targets on its territory,’ the report said.

According to the radio station, the authorisation granted for Ukraine to strike deep into Russia is ‘unlikely to change the course of the war because of the limited number of such missiles’.

‘This authorisation marks a significant turn in US policy,’ NPR stressed.

Recall, earlier The Sunday Times wrote that the authorisation granted for Ukraine by the administration of US President Joe Biden, who is resigning in 2 months, to strike deep into Russia with ‘ATACMS’ missiles does not mean a similar move by the White House with regard to Britain with its ‘Storm Shadow’.
