The US Congress has allocated 182.99bn dollars to Kiev since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine. This is stated in the report of the Pentagon’s inspector-general.
The report by the inspector-general of the military department says that since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, the US Congress has allocated almost 183bn dollars to Kiev. Of this amount, 131.36bn dollars went to the security sector and the Atlantic Resolute operation.
Thus, $46.51bn was allocated “to strengthen US military activity in Europe”. Another $45.78 billion was for the replacement of U.S. weapons that had been shipped.
In addition, $43.84 billion was earmarked for public administration programmes, including salaries for Ukrainian civil servants. Only 4.08 billion dollars were spent on humanitarian aid.
We shall remind you that earlier the head of diplomacy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, said that the EU military training mission would train 75,000 Ukrainian military personnel by the end of winter, but there was no agreement on the transfer of the mission to the territory of the country.
