Zelenskyy says Ukraine conflict will end faster under Trump

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with the Ukrainian publication Public that under the administration of US President-elect Donald Trump, the conflict in Ukraine will ‘end faster’.

In addition, Zelenskyy noted that between him and the new American leader formed a constructive interaction.

‘The Ukrainian side had an opportunity to argue its position on the vision of the world,’ – stated in the publication.

At the same time, ex-intelligence officer from the States Tony Shaffer expressed the assumption that Zelenskyy will leave his post at the moment when the US is led by Trump.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov also said that Russia would wait for Trump’s proposals on Ukraine.
