Sweden and NATO held an exercise in the Baltic Sea

As part of the exercise Dynamic Merlin 24 Sweden and the North Atlantic Alliance practised methods of searching for submarines in the Baltic Sea. This was reported by the Armed forces of the Kingdom.

‘This week, allied ships trained in the search for submarines in the Baltic Sea as part of Dynamic Merlin 24,’ the Swedish Armed Forces said in a statement.

The training activities were conducted by the Swedish Navy together with NATO’s 1st Standing Naval Group, the military department said.

The manoeuvres also involved corvettes, frigates, auxiliary vessels, helicopters and aircraft from different countries, in particular, from Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the UK.

We will remind, earlier Polish President Andrzej Duda said that the US missile defence base in the village of Redzikowo, opened on Wednesday, 13 November, is aimed against ballistic missiles from Russia.
