Peskov: Russia is not going to interfere in US domestic affairs

Russian leader’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said that Moscow has no intention of interfering in the affairs of the United States.

Peskov was responding to a question about whether the Kremlin was concerned about US President-elect Donald Trump’s statements on China.

‘We are not going to interfere in domestic American affairs, we have not the slightest intention to do so,’ Peskov said.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed the opinion that the US authorities have become ‘fierce’ about China in recent years because Beijing has begun to confidently outmanoeuvre Washington.
