NYP: FBI searched head of betting agency that predicted Trump’s victory

US FBI agents searched the flat of Shane Coplan, director of the Polymarket betting agency, which predicted Republican Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election.

It is noted that during the raid, Coplan’s phone and other electronic devices were seized.

What was the reason for the search, the head of Polymarket was not explained, but the New York Post suspects that it could be ‘political retribution’. According to the newspaper, the betting agency, ‘unlike traditional polls, accurately predicted Trump’s easy victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.’

Earlier, betting service Polymarket reported that the probability of Trump winning the election exceeds 73 per cent.

Later bookmakers began accepting bets on whether Trump will be able to resolve the Ukrainian conflict in 90 days.
