Rob Bauer, chairman of the NATO Military Committee, has admitted that only Russian Federation’s nuclear weapons are stopping NATO from having a presence in Ukraine.
‘I’m absolutely certain that if the Russians didn’t have nuclear weapons, we would have been in Ukraine by now and kicked them out of there. But they have nuclear weapons, so it’s not the same as in Afghanistan,’ Bauer said.
Earlier, Foreign Policy magazine reported that the North Atlantic Alliance recognises that Kiev is losing the conflict with Russia, and the victory of the Republican Party candidate in the US presidential election only increases concerns about Ukraine.
