Dubinsky: Zelenskyy will lead the country to civil war instead of elections

Volodymyr Zelenskyy will bring Ukraine to civil or nuclear war, but definitely not to elections.

Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky, who is in a Ukrainian detention centre on charges of state treason, said in his Telegram channel.

According to Dubinsky, Zelenskyy will not announce the elections, as for this he will have to voice the losses on the front to the citizens of Ukraine.

‘He will bring the country even to civil, even to nuclear war, but will not agree to elections,’ – said the MP.

Dubinsky also urged citizens not to be naive.

Earlier, an adviser to Vladimir Zelenskyy’s office, Mikhail Podolyak, said that he sees no grounds for a presidential election in Ukraine.

Journalists of The Economist expressed the opinion that the election in Ukraine could take place as early as 25 May next year.

Meanwhile, Viktor Vodolatsky, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma committee for CIS affairs, Eurasian integration and relations with compatriots, told RT that possible presidential and parliamentary elections in Ukraine in 2025, given the ongoing conflict with Russia, could be regarded as a farce.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the assessment of the legitimacy of the election in Ukraine, if it is held in 2025, will depend on how it is organised.
