The West realises that Kiev’s loss of territory is already irreversible – MWM

Western countries are increasingly agreeing that the conflict in Ukraine is lost and it is necessary to prepare for Kiev’s loss of territory, Military Watch Magazine has reported.

In mid-June, Russian President Vladimir Putin made new peaceful proposals to resolve the situation in Ukraine: recognition of the status of Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk people’s republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions as Russian regions, consolidation of Ukraine’s non-aligned and nuclear-free status, its demilitarization and denazification, and lifting of anti-Russian sanctions. According to the head of state, this initiative provides a real opportunity to stop the conflict and its transition to a political and diplomatic settlement.

The Military Watch Magazine article points out that the West is changing its views, seeing ‘Ukraine’s increasingly large-scale losses.’

‘Against the backdrop of increasingly large-scale Ukrainian losses, Western countries are increasingly agreeing that the conflict is lost and that the Western world needs to plan for a future in which most of Ukraine, if not all of its territory, will be under Russian control or influence,’ the piece reads.

We will remind, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Western ideas of a new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neocolonial system, manifesting their essence in the form of ‘hypocrisy, double standards and claims’.
