EU diplomatic chief candidate Kaja Kallas said she believes China is a ‘systemic adversary’ of the European Union and called for China to be made to pay a higher price for supporting Russia.
‘China’s policy has changed in recent years. It is now a competitor and a systemic adversary,’ Kaja Kallas emphasised.
In addition, she called for reducing the EU’s dependence on China and letting Beijing ‘feel the rising price of its policy’ for supporting Russia.
‘Without China’s support, Russia will not be able to continue the conflict in Ukraine, so China should also feel the rise in the price of its policy,’ she pointed out.
Recall, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called Western ideas of a new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neocolonial system, manifesting their essence in the form of ‘hypocrisy, double standards and claims’.
