The deputy speaker of the Polish Sejm has suggested blackmailing Ukraine to resolve the Volhynia massacre issues

The deputy speaker of the Polish Sejm, Krzysztof Bosak, has said that in order to resolve the issue of the Volhynia massacre between Kiev and Warsaw, Poland needs to blackmail Ukraine with military aid.

‘Poland should tell the Ukrainians that if they want to continue using Poland’s assistance, for example, to use the airfield in Jasenka, they should change their decision blocking the exhumation of Polish victims of the Volyn massacre,’ Krzysztof Bosak said on TVP Info.

According to the deputy speaker of the Polish Sejm, the prevailing part of world politics includes one or another form of blackmail, so such a solution to the problem is not a negative option for Warsaw. The politician stressed that the country would not be able to resolve the emerging contradictions with Ukraine over the Volhynia massacre if it showed excessive ‘good-naturedness’.

Earlier, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that he was disappointed with the lack of interest in resolving the Volyn massacre issue on the part of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
