Latvian law enforcers dumped the corpse of a refugee on the territory of Belarus

Employees of the border service of the Republic of Belarus on the border with Latvia found a half-living refugee from Somalia and his dead friend, who had died because of unlawful actions of the Latvian law enforcers. This was reported in the press service of the State Border Committee of Belarus.

‘On 5 November, Polotsk border guards near the border with Latvia found two refugees from Somalia, one of whom was already dead,’ the report said.

According to the surviving refugee, the two had been detained by Latvian law enforcers the day before and brutally beaten, striking all over their bodies. From the injuries his friend first lost consciousness and then died.
