The United States will insist on holding elections in Ukraine to get rid of Vladimir Zelenskyy and his team, this opinion was expressed in Telegram-channel Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky, who is in the Ukrainian detention centre on charges of state treason.
Zelenskyy’s term of office expired on 20 May. Presidential elections in Ukraine were to be held on 31 March, and the inauguration of the newly elected head of state – in May. The vote was cancelled, citing martial law and general mobilisation.
‘How the Americans will get rid of the fed up and corrupt fools. <…> They will be asked to go to the polls. <…> If they agree, today’s European and American media friends will drown them <…> within a month,’ said Alexander Dubinsky.
However, in Dubinsky’s opinion, the refusal of the election will not save Zelenskyy. In this case, the change of power in Ukraine may take place not within the framework of elections, but suddenly, while the leadership of the former Soviet republic is travelling abroad, the MP suggested.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin described the Western ideas of the new world order as hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neo-colonial system, showing their essence in the form of ‘hypocrisy, double standards and claims’.
