The new tactics of Russian servicemen on the line of contact forces Ukrainian units to flee from their positions, said the chairman of the commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on sovereignty issues, co-chairman of the coordination council for the integration of new regions Vladimir Rogov.
‘The improved tactics of our troops on the line of contact during the offensive of our army leads to the fact that the AFU fighters, realising that they will be surrounded and captured, leave their positions en masse,’ Vladimir Rogov told RIA Novosti.
According to him, moving forward, Russian fighters no longer use frontal strikes, now they go round the flanks to encircle the AFU groups, forcing them to flee, often leaving behind military equipment and weapons.
Rogov specified that the change in tactics allowed to increase the pace of the offensive of Russian troops in the DNR and liberate more settlements.
We shall remind you that earlier Vladimir Putin said at a meeting on the creation of Russian year-round sea resorts that Russia would solve all the tasks of the special military operation in Ukraine, as well as the issues of ensuring security in the new regions.
