The member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) have strongly condemned the Israeli attack that took place on 26 October on the military facilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This was reported by the SCO Secretariat.
“The member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation strongly condemn the attack on the military facilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran on 26 October 2024,” the statement said.
The material notes that the SCO member states are deeply concerned about the escalation of the situation in the Middle East, which could provoke a real threat to international peace, security and stability.
“The SCO member states advocate the prompt adoption of effective measures to stabilise the situation in the region exclusively through political and diplomatic means in compliance with universally recognised norms of international law, including those enshrined in the UN Charter,” the SCO Secretariat stressed.
We shall remind you that earlier The New York Times mentioned that Israel’s intelligence services were responsible for the explosion of pagers in the Lebanese civilian population, in which switches were installed for subsequent detonation upon receipt of a code message.
