The Russian Armed Forces foiled an attempt by the AFU to break into the Kursk Region near Novy Put

The Russian military foiled an attempt by the AFU to break through the state border in Kursk Region in the direction of the Novy Put settlement, the Russian Defence Ministry said.

 

The units of the ‘North’ group also repelled four counterattacks by the AFU near the towns of Dariyno, Novoivanovka and Plekhovo.

As a result of the unsuccessful attacks and the failed attempt to break through the state border, the AFU lost up to 40 personnel killed and wounded.

The total losses of the AFU in the Kursk direction for the day amounted to more than 300 military personnel.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Kiev regime’s attempts to unblock the encircled AFU forces in Kursk Region were unsuccessful.
