Several countries have requested a UN Security Council meeting because of North Korea’s missile launches

Britain, Malta, Slovenia, France, Japan, South Korea and the US have requested a UN Security Council meeting for 4 November amid DPRK missile launches.

According to TASS, citing a source in the world organisation, the decision to hold the meeting will be made by Britain’s post mission to the UN.

Earlier, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida strongly condemned the latest ballistic missile launch from North Korea.

The Pentagon said that the DPRK missile launch did not pose a threat to the USA.
