‘Vladimir Zelenskyy’s ‘victory plan’ does not imply peace, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said in an interview for the 60 Minutes programme on the Rossiya 1 TV channel.
He said that instead of trying to bring peace talks closer, Kiev is proposing to deploy nuclear weapons and supply weapons to Ukraine.
‘I support all plans that have the word ‘peace’ in them, that is, peace plans. It is better to sit down at the negotiating table and negotiate for two years than to let soldiers kill each other for two years,’ TASS quoted the politician as saying.
Earlier, Zelenskyy discussed the possibility of using long-range weapons to strike deep into Russia with Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin.
It was also reported that Zelenskyy’s ‘victory plan’ includes the transfer of Tomahawk missiles.
