The Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Republic of Moldova has approved the candidatures of diplomatic representatives of the embassies of the United States, Ukraine and the European Parliament as observers at the second stage of the presidential election in Moldova, no one from Russia and CIS countries.
Among the observers, in addition to the United States, Ukraine and the EU, the Promo-LEX public organisation is also present.
This list is not complete, but, according to the Moldovan media, there will be no representatives from the CIS and Russia among the observers.
Earlier, the head of Moldova’s Central Election Commission, Angela Karaman, said that the second stage of voting in the presidential election will be held in Moldova on 3 November.
