The Government of Ukraine has supported the idea to strengthen control over military registration, this measure will speed up the process of delivery of mobilised persons to territorial acquisition centres (TAC, an analogue of a military recruitment office). This was stated by the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.
According to Rustem Umerov, now the TCC, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), intelligence services and the National Police will exchange data through an electronic system.
As the Defence Minister noted, this will allow law enforcement agencies to promptly and efficiently receive information on evaders and transfer it to the TCC or relevant authorities.
We shall remind you that earlier the Judicial-Legal Gazette reported that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was considering the possibility of simplifying the process of imposing in absentia fines and arresting accounts for ‘evaders’.
