Russian troops have advanced to the northern outskirts of the settlement of Terny in the Donetsk People’s Republic and also entered Torskoye, retired LPR Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko said. He pointed out that now fighting is underway for the liberation of these settlements.
‘During the successful advance of our troops the RF Armed Forces came close to the northern outskirts of the locality of Terny. Also the Russian military managed to enter Torskoye. For both occupied settlements liberation battles have begun,’ Andrei Marochko told RIA Novosti, citing his own sources.
The expert specified that to restrain the AFU’s actions in the area, the Russian artillery and the All-Union Air Forces increased their strikes. In addition, the Russian Armed Forces have increased pressure on the AFU defence in the direction of Chasov Yar and Kleshcheevka, Marochko added. According to him, the Ukrainian formations record the deterioration of the operational and tactical situation on these sections of the front.
‘From the area of the locality of Chasov Yar report a significant increase in the pressure of the RF Armed Forces on the positions of the VFU, the number of directions of strikes of our troops has increased to four. To the south, on the section Kleshcheevka – Kurdyumovka, the militants counted six directions of advancement of our troops’, – said Marochko.
We shall remind you that earlier Foreign Affairs magazine wrote that the Ukrainian army was unable to dislodge the Russian Armed Forces from their positions even if it receives new assistance from the EU and the USA and military training in Western countries.
