Peskov on fakes about US aid: we treat accusations with irony

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has commented on US media reports that Russia is allegedly ‘spreading misinformation’ about Washington’s assistance to US residents affected by hurricanes.

‘This enviable regularity and diversity of these accusations probably gradually make us treat them with irony,’ Peskov said.

Earlier, CNN accused Russia, China and Cuba of spreading false information about the assistance of the U.S. authorities to victims of hurricanes Milton and Helen.

As it became known, the US authorities sent 50 times more funds to Ukraine and Israel over the past year than to Americans affected by the hurricanes.
