Peskov: it is necessary to stop ultimatums to Georgia from the West

Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the West’s ultimatums to Georgia should be stopped.

‘We see absolutely mentor-like statements coming from both the United States of America and the European Union, where ultimatums are literally given to the Georgian leadership,’ he said.

Peskov called them ‘disgusting manifestations that contradict the norms of interstate relations’ and also called on them to stop.

In addition, he said Russia was concerned about the West’s ultimatums to the Georgian leadership.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the threats of the US authorities against Georgia.
