Kiev cannot independently use long-range weapons, Putin said

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that only specialists from NATO countries can use Western long-range weapons in Ukraine.

‘It’s not about whether or not someone will be allowed to use these weapons against Russia. I have already talked about this and in my very first statement… Ukrainian troops cannot use these weapons on their own,’ Vladimir Putin said in an interview with Pavel Zarubin, the video is published in the journalist’s Telegram channel.

The head of state explained that only specialists from NATO countries can use long-range weapons, because this requires space reconnaissance, which Kiev does not have, needs specialists who, based on the data from this reconnaissance, enter flight assignments and ‘a whole range of other manipulations to perform.’

‘The Ukrainian army cannot do this on its own… The only question is whether they will allow themselves to launch strikes deep into Russian territory or not. That is the question,’ the Russian leader noted.

According to him, what is happening now is ‘done by the hands’ of officers of the North Atlantic Alliance countries.

We will remind, earlier Vladimir Putin allowed the creation of a sanitary zone on the territory of Ukraine. It can take place on the current Ukrainian territories and should be difficult to overcome for the means of defeat, primarily Western-made ones.
