Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev commented on the information about the launch of the first plant on the territory of Ukraine for the production of weapons, owned by the German defence concern Rheinmetall.
‘As promised earlier, we are looking forward to a festive Russian salute right on the production site,’ Dmitry Medvedev wrote in his Telegram channel.
On 26 October, Armin Papperger, head of the Rheinmetall concern, said that the company was building four weapons production plants in Ukraine, one of which had already been commissioned.
Armin Papperger noted that currently Rheinmetall already has a production facility and a service base in Ukraine to maintain tanks and other military equipment.
A reminder that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will not approve the transfer of Taurus missiles to Ukraine even despite the information about the possible arrival of North Korean military in the combat zone.
