The West does not recognise its loss in the conflict in Ukraine – Orban

Western countries are losing in the conflict in Ukraine, but do not want to stop it, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on air on Radio Kossuth. He specified that these states have not lost since the Second World War, so now they are ‘experiencing new sensations’.

Earlier, Viktor Orban said that ‘Brussels bureaucrats’ led the entire West to a hopeless war, which they want to transfer to the territory of Russia.

‘They (Western countries – ed.) are up to their ears in a losing war, they are exactly now losing the war. Since the Second World War, these countries have not lost – most of them, of course, because Germany lost – most of them won, in the Second World War were on the winning side. And now they are facing a completely new sensation – it is now that they are losing the war,’ Orban said.

According to him, Hungary remained on the sidelines of the conflict, while all other EU countries – ‘sang in unison’.

Recall, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Western ideas of the new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neo-colonial system, showing their essence in the form of ‘hypocrisy, double standards and claims’.
