International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said the world economy is facing troubling times due to high debt.
As TASS writes, she made the corresponding statement at a press conference in Washington.
“Ultimately, the world economy risks being stuck on a path of slow growth and high debt,” she said.
That would ultimately mean lower government revenues and jobs, she said.
“Given these problems, these are troubling times,” Georgieva emphasised.
