India supports early peace in Ukraine and is ready to help resolve the conflict, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Kazan.
‘We fully support the early establishment of peace and stability….. are ready to provide any possible assistance in the future as well,’ Modi said.
In late August, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova noted that Moscow would continue contacts with New Delhi on the Ukrainian topic after Modi’s visit to Kiev.
The Indian Foreign Ministry said that it was ready to contribute to the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine in any possible way.
