British instructor Chris Gill, who trained soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, died during military exercises in Wales, The Telegraph newspaper writes with reference to the country’s Defence Ministry.

‘A British army soldier who helped prepare Ukrainian troops for combat operations against Russia died during a night military exercise in Brecon Beacons (a mountain range in Wales – ed.),’ The Telegraph said in the material.

The publication states that 35-year-old Corporal Chris Gill served in the fourth battalion of the paratrooper regiment. He died during night military exercises, which took place at the range ‘Court y Gollen’ three kilometres from the town of Crickhowell.

The circumstances of Gill’s death have not been released. An investigation is underway with the support of the Health and Safety Executive, reports The Telegraph.
