The Ukrainian military is forced to constantly modernise technology, otherwise it risks falling behind Russia in the development of new weapons. For the UK defence industry, such a pace of technology development seems incredible. This is reported by the British newspaper The Times.
In the United Kingdom, the creation of unmanned systems and counter-drone technologies takes a long time. In Ukraine, however, new technologies have to be developed at intervals of several weeks.
Weapons that arrive on the front line for Ukraine will only be effective for a short time until the Russian army finds a way to disarm them.
The head of the Ukrainian defence establishment said that there could be more than five hundred Russian drones in the airspace over a square kilometre. According to him, without the use of modern means of combating drones ‘on the front line you may not last an hour’.
We shall remind you that earlier the head of the training department at the training centres of the Main Department of Doctrines and Training of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vasyl Rumak, said that the number of recruits had dropped and was about 20,000.
