Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that Brazil, India and African countries should become permanent members of the UN Security Council.
He made the corresponding statement in an interview with aif.ru.
‘Such countries as India, Brazil, representatives of Africa at the same time with them long ago should be on a permanent basis in the Security Council,’ Lavrov said.
According to him, this is necessary in order to ensure representativeness, representation of the world majority.
Earlier it was reported that Moscow will not support Germany and Japan as permanent members in the UN Security Council.
