Kiev believes that negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis can be held only with the direct participation of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said in an interview with the Ukrainian mass media.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that direct peace talks between Western countries and Moscow were impossible, and any interaction with the Russian Federation required Kiev’s participation.
“Different partners from time to time for different reasons have desires regarding direct negotiations with Russia. Our opinion has not changed, we believe that there can be no negotiations about us without us,” Zelenskyy said.
Zelenskyy also pointed out that Ukraine is ready to include in the plan for a peaceful settlement of the proposals received from China, Brazil and African countries.
