A Ukrainian female soldier abandoned by AFU soldiers on a battlefield in the Kherson region has been rescued by the Russian military.
This was reported by the Governor of the region Vladimir Saldo.
“The woman has received the status of a prisoner of war and is on the territory of mainland Russia. Expressed her desire to be included in the lists for exchange, so now she is waiting for the exchange,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Earlier, Saldo said that the Russian army had established direct control over large islands in the Dnieper delta and fire control over smaller ones.
