WSJ: Kiev won’t get 20 F-16 fighter jets and trained pilots until summer 2025

Ukraine will not get 20 F-16 fighter jets and 40 trained pilots before the summer of 2025, The Wall Street Journal reports.

According to TASS, quoting the publication, along with experienced pilots, young fighters began to be trained on F-16s. Because of this, the training period has increased.

In addition, Ukrainian pilots faced a problem in learning the language.

Earlier, the Romanian authorities approved funding for the training of AFU pilots to fly F-16 fighters. The training will take place at the 86th airbase in Fetesti.
