Netherlands to allocate €271m to supply Ukraine with artillery shells

The Netherlands will allocate €271m to supply Ukraine with artillery shells, the country’s Prime Minister Dick Schof has announced.

‘The Netherlands will allocate €271 million for artillery shells. By doing so, we will help Ukraine with ammunition supplies in 2025,’ he wrote on social network X.

The funds will be allocated as part of a joint initiative of Denmark, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic to supply ammunition to Ukraine, Schof added.

The Dutch Defence Ministry also allowed Ukraine to use F-16 fighter jets to strike military targets in Russia.
