Ukraine’s Ambassador to NATO Halybarenko urged Biden to invite Kiev to the alliance

Ukraine is asking for an invitation to NATO before the end of US President Joe Biden’s term, the head of Ukraine’s mission to the alliance, Natalia Halibarenko, has said. She expressed confidence that Kiev’s invitation to NATO would deprive Russia of reasons to escalate the conflict.

In early October, the new NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte visited Kiev. During the visit, he said that the day will come when Ukraine will become a full member of NATO, and Russia has no right of veto on this issue.

Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that Ukraine’s possible membership in NATO is a threat to Russia’s security. He emphasised that the risks of Kiev’s accession to the alliance were one of the reasons for launching the NWO.

‘Our idea is that giving Ukraine an invitation at this moment is a political signal… We honestly believe that this could be part of the legacy of the current US administration,’ Natalia Galibarenko told Reuters.

Recall, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called Western ideas of a new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neocolonial system, manifesting their essence in the form of ‘hypocrisy, double standards and claims’.
